If you are person who likes to explore the different website(s) then, you might have stumble upon a site where you couldn’t access because of the anti-malware warnings. Ever wondered who is responsible for such prompt? No, its not browser which you are using, but it technology made by Google called “Safe Browsing” which are used by all the three popular browsers, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari.
Soon, you might be witness more such warnings as Google plans to roll out a number of improvements to “Safe Browsing”. Major focus of this update will be on ad injectors. With latest update, Google’s Safe Browsing will prevent its users from installing these ad injectors on their computers.
According to Google, Safe Browsing had shown 5 million warnings per day and detected over 50K malware site and 90K phising sites per month, these stats were for May 2015.
